Central Cabinet Approved Eighth Pay Commission!

Written By Admin on Thursday, 16 January 2025 | 22:55

New year 2025 brings lot of happiness and bonanza for all Central government Employees and Pensioners this year! After lot of fake news and rumors, finally Narendra Modi government approved the constitution of eighth central pay commission. Although it is not decided yet that when the commission will be constituted. But it is assumed that the Commission of CPC will be constituted soon.

Today, Central Information and Broadcasting minister Mr. Aswini  Boishnab confirmed the news and said that the chairman and two other members will be selected very soon. This Central Pay commission will decide the pay and structure of dearness allowances of the central government employees. They also decide the annual increment and other allowances of the employees. Now time to see that when the new pay commission will be constituted. Central Govt employees already started to calculate their pay hike of their minimum basic pay with fitment factor though it is yet to be decided.

Currently, minimum salary of the central government employees is 18000 per month which was decided by the 7th CPC in 2016. Now recommendation of 7th CPC is valid till 2026. This is why 8th CPC has been recommended and approved one year before to 2026 so that new Committe can have sufficient time to recommend pay structures within time. In this regard, different state government and other concerns will be discussed, says Mr. Aswini.
